In the long tradition of our Church, the month of November is devoted to honoring and praying for all who have gone before us. On All Souls Day and at our Annual Bereavement Mass on Saturday, we have done just that. Indeed every time we celebrate the Eucharist we pray for these, the Faithful Departed.

for God is always near.
He shared your heartbreak and your pain
and knows the things you fear.
His hand will guide you safely,
for His love is always there
to give you strength and courage
if you ask for it in prayer.”
