Despite the weather on Saturday night, the rain didn't dampen the spirits of the many faithful supporters who turned out for our 52nd Annual Fiesta! Once again we offered great "family fun" and a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our great St. Rita community!

The entertainment and the game booths provided fun for all ages. The wide variety of food was remarkable and "The Last Putter Standing Contest" was a great hit - with proceeds benefiting our sister parish St. Clement of Rome in Louisiana.

We all owe heartfelt thanks to the Fiesta Stewards, over 400 volunteers, and to the hard working Fiesta Committee led by our Fiesta Co-Chairs Tom Cali and Ed Ritzel and their respective spouses Anne and Barb. Many months of preparation go into planning and organizing this monumental event for our parish. All those involved are true stewards, giving of their Time and Talent to make this event the talk of the town! Tom and Ed will have a full "Fiesta Update" for the bulletin in the weeks ahead.
