Fiesta Stewards NEEDED!!!!
*Many Hands Make Light Work!!*
Each
year more than 400 parishioners and friends of St. Rita Parish work
together in a variety of ways to make this festival the talk of the
Diocese. This year marks our 56th consecutive year of holding the
Fiesta, the longest running event of its kind in the Diocese!
*Friend Making and Fund Raising*
The
Fiesta has become a community event drawing more than 5,000 attendees
over the two days. Not only do you get to meet new people and
make new friends, you are also supporting the community. The
monies raised at this event help support the 50+ ministries here at St.
Rita’s who provide many services to the needy in our community and
beyond. Our tithe recipient this year is the St. Mary’s Hospital
Brain Injury Unit, a nationally recognized program for patients
suffering from traumatic brain injuries and where some of our own
parishioners have personally benefited greatly from their care.
*What can I do?*
Here
is a list of the committees that need your support. If you are
unable to work a "full" shift that is listed, just pick the time slot
that best fits your schedule and include a comment with the actual
times you are available.
If you do not have a preference for
committee or particular job or time
slot, leave the selection as 'Where Needed' and you will be contacted
to finalize your work shift.
If
a particular committee/job/time slot does not appear, we have enough
volunteers signed up already - please select another one!
Make sure to check the box if you are 18 or over as some of the jobs
are only available to adults.
