ONLY 5,000 Tickets Will Be Sold – So get your forms in quickly!
Fill out as many tickets as you wish and send in a check or cash for the total amount – ($10 per Entry)
You can mail them to: St. Rita Fiesta Raffle, 1008 Maple Dr., Webster,
NY 14580, put them in the collection baskets at Sunday masses, or drop
them off at the Parish Office.
Any tickets beyond 5,000 will be returned to the rightful owners.
You do not need to be present to win. All decisions of the Fiesta chairmen are final.

St. Rita’s 53rd Annual Fiesta
Friday, June 1 and Saturday, June 2
It can't happen without YOU!
The 53rd annual St. Rita's Fiesta is approaching quickly and it
promises to be another crowd pleaser benefiting those most in need.
Once again, proceeds from the two day festival will help St. Clement of
Rome, our sister parish near New Orleans still struggling to recover
from the devastation of Hurricane Katrina.
Our Annual Fiesta features a wide range of activities and games for
children and adults, and, as always, a variety of tantalizing food.
There is also the plant sale, the book sale, the bake sale and the
auction.
Great musical entertainment
~ Atlas kicks off our entertainment on Friday evening.
Atlas is a nine-member soul/r&b/funk band based in Rochester.
Together for 25 years they are the #1 Party Band in New York State
having performed at corporate parties, weddings, festivals, and
nightclubs. On Saturday evening, It’s Your Party (featuring
our parish’s own Katie Germano and Danielle Albano) opens the
entertainment followed by the ever popular and crown favorite
Skycoasters!

Tickets will be available the beginning of May.
Fiesta Auction update ~ we need your time and treasures!
Please help us to make this year's auction the BEST EVER! We are
looking for items that can be donated for our 2nd annual LIVE auction
plus items for the silent auction. Last year our parishioners and
local business were very generous with their donations. We
already have some new and exciting plans for the silent auction that
will sure to be a lot of fun for all! If you would also like to
help with the auction, please let us know. Please contact Gary or
Virginia Nicastro at 872-5564 or Linda Kehoe at 872-2087 for more
information about donations or volunteering.
Fiesta Plant Sale ~
We are looking forward to another successful plant sale with all your
generous donations from your gardens. Last year the
selection was beyond belief with the many assortments of plants,
bushes, trees, bulbs, perennials, groundcovers and houseplants donated
by parishioners. We are preparing for the Fiesta Plant
sale. When you are digging and dividing your plants and shrubs
for the Fiesta Plant sale please mark their names and flower colors
with each pot. Last year’s success was built on our
customers being able to find the plant they wanted and knowing the
flower color. We are willing to divide and dig your donated
plants. We are looking for different varieties of Hostas, flowering
shrubs and perennials, and any other plant you would like to donate. We
are still in need of containers. Please call Carol Van Atta, 671-7832,
to schedule a dig time. Or for more information, call Joyce
Hollander, 671-3281. Volunteers are needed to set up and work the
booth.
Fiesta Book Sale ~
Once again, it's time to dust off your bookshelves and donate your used
books, videos, DVD's and CD's to annual Fiesta Book Sale. Thanks for
your great response in the past. A collection box will be placed in the
narthex May 1st. For pick-up call Mary or Don at 671-2722.
The Fiesta always needs sponsors and volunteers !

Setting Up/Tearing Down – A little manual labor is good for you.
Volunteers are needed for setting up and tearing down the Fiesta.

St. Rita’s 53rd Annual Fiesta ~ Is Coming Soon!!
Save the Dates ~ Friday & Saturday, June 1st & 2nd, 2007
The 53rd annual Fiesta is less then 6 weeks away and it promises to be
a very special event! The Fiesta is scheduled for Friday &
Saturday June 1 & 2. Our annual Fiesta includes a wide range
of activities and games for children and adults and a variety of
tantalizing food. We will again feature the LAST GOLFER
STANDING!. Who can sink “the putt”, that will bring in the
big $$$! Don’t forget the 2nd annual $10,000
raffle! Only 5,000 tickets will be sold. All parish
families will be receiving ticket information in the coming
weeks.
Proceeds support the efforts of over 50 Ministries at Saint Rita Parish
and will now also include tithing financial support for one of our
sister parishes:
St. Clement of Rome - our sister parish in Metairie, LA. That was heavily damaged from Hurricane Katrina.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
We are always looking for folks interested in sharing their stewardship
of time and talent to help with our annual Fiesta. There are a
wide variety of opportunities to pick from – such as food booths,
game booths, set-up, clean-up, security, etc. We can also use
help in other areas like the Raffle, Fund Raising, and the Last Golfer
Standing contest. If you are able to help in any way or would
like more information on how you or your family can be part of this
great event please contact Tom Cali at 671-0428 or Ed Ritzel at
787-1937. This is a wonderful time for our parish and promises to
be filled with great fun, great food and fellowship for folks of all
ages!
