Liturgy Notes for Nov/Dec/Jan

Did you miss the liturgy evening on October 3? We learned a lot about the changes to the Roman Missal and looked at some of the new wording. Copies of the handouts are available in the folder hanging on the board in the narthex or attached to your email.

Christmas Scheduling: sign-ups will be for Dec. 24-25 and December 31-Jan. 1.

*** NOTE: We will need ministers for BOTH 4:00 Masses on Christmas Eve (church and gym). Please watch for the sign-ups in early December.

Lectors

Workbooks are in! You can pick them up starting Nov. 1. Due to the change in tables in the narthex, I’m putting them in the altar servers’ room on the lectionary table. Be sure to check your name when you pick up your book.

Communion Ministers

Reminders from October 3:

Cup stations 8 & 10 go directly to the sacristy when you are finished.
Both host and cup should go to any handicapped in the back of church. The ushers will be made aware that they should allow both ministers to go.
Don’t wipe the inside of the chalice until it has been rinsed.
Cup stations 2 and 3 should try to stand opposite the credence table. We don’t want to crowd either stations 1 or 4.

Remember that schedules and notes are posted on the parish website. Go to (http://www.saintrita.org) under “Ministries”, then “Liturgical Ministries”.
NOTE: When you get to the schedules, use the far right scroll bar to find the other schedules. Otherwise you’ll only see the Leader schedule.
