Liturgy Notes
- THANK YOU! for all your help during Holy Week and Easter.
- THANK YOU to all who gave me their summer availability ahead of
time. I know that conflicts will arise as the summer goes on. PLEASE
try to get a sub when you can’t make an assignment. The
“regulars” you’re counting on to take your place may
be on vacation, too! Remember to call the scheduled leader or the
parish office if you can’t make an assignment and didn’t
find a sub so someone knows ahead of time that you need a
replacement. Thank you!!!!
- CONGRATULATIONS! to our graduating seniors Evan Korol,
Claire Schum, John Hohl, Pat Crittenden and Michael Wynne. (Let me know
if I missed anybody!)
- Best wishes to Erica Griffin as she expects her second child in
June. Godspeed to Ellen Muto who is leaving us for the wonderful
job of grandma!
- Scheduling Note: In the summer I try to “double up”
as much as possible so I don’t monopolize your weekends. If
you do more than one ministry, be sure to check both on the weekends
you are scheduled. You’re probably doing more than one thing that
weekend.
Communion Ministers
- St. Ann’s Home needs you! Ministers are needed to help with
communion at the Sunday, 10:00 am Mass. Afterwards you will take
communion to some of the residents who can’t come down to attend
Mass. If you can help, please call Sheila Kinsky, 697-6447, to
volunteer.
Lectors
- I have quite a few (expensive) Lector Workbooks left over. If you
didn’t get one (1/2 price now?) or would rather not have one next
time, please let me know. We order one for every lector and
they’re yours. Donations are accepted but not required.
It’s an excellent resource for preparing your readings. I can
order fewer copies next fall if I know ahead of time who doesn’t
need one.
Remember that schedules and notes are posted on the parish website. Go to (http://www.saintrita.org)
under “Committees”, then “Spiritual Life and
Worship”. Note that the schedules are posted in a new
format.
Happy Summer!
