Marriage Preparation
St. Rita Parish sponsors a Marriage Preparation
program twice a year - usually in February and September. Our next session is October 13, 2007. Please consult the Diocese of Rochester website for other options.
The program is a day-long session covering such issues as
Communication, Finances, Sexuality, and the Covenant of Marriage.
We hope it will be a relaxing and fun-filled day for the two of
you as you prepare for marriage.
If you would like to register for one of our next sessions, we
take registrations until two weeks before the session date.
Please fill out the registration
form and mail a check for $60.00 USD made payable to
St. Rita Marriage Preparation. Instructions are on the
form itself. This fee covers the cost of all materials, and
includes continental breakfast in the morning and a box lunch.
Please be sure to specify your lunch selections on the
registration form. We will send a confirmation letter, including
a map, the week before the session.
If you have already registered and have decided not to attend our
program, we would appreciate a call or message so that we may
extend the offer to another couple who may be on a waiting list.

If you would like to volunteer to help at one of our future
sessions, you are most certainly welcome. It takes many people to
put on a comprehensive, thought-provoking and fulfilling day to a
group of engaged couples. Tasks range from purchasing supplies to
setting up for the day to presenting to the entire group to
facilitating a small group discussion to making sure the coffee
is ready. If you can help out in any way, please call Steve and
